ok so. i went snowboarding tuesday and it was absolutly spectacular!!!!!!! ahhhh

So first, i was kind of bummed that i woke up kind of late, but i ended up leaving at 1030 and getting out on the MOUNTAIN at 1130!! I dont remember the sky being so bright blue and the snow being so white! talk about aesthetics like woah.  I get so high on life sometimes, im such a LOSER.

My cat without fail gets in front of the computer screen every time im online.  CRAZY cat!

back to my amazing day.  I rode on the lift with so many cool people! it was fun.  I also got some rad air today, it felt SOooooo good.  the whole time i was just thinking..i hope there is snowboarding in heaven.  If there is i bet it surpasses anything here, im psyched.  yeaahaaaaaa... today just seemed right.  It was about 40 degrees and sunny, and every jib was perfect, well, except maybe once when i went up the wall, but the rest just felt right..

OHHhh i also rode up with anne a few times too! she also took advantage of the beautiful day, smart one! Then I headed back and did a few runs and went to my car.  AMazing, so bright! I also lost my gogs but some lift girl picked em up, haha close one!

So i got home and studied for my math test hard core.  Went to my test, and im pretty sure i did really well on it. So that was pretty sweet.  Everytime i leave that math building i think of how cool it would be to grind those handrails. The street lighting is just perfect its like in a magazine, i really want to do it but there is no snow haha.  I should become a pro skater.

ok no.. but anyway, the resta the day was cool, and i found this kid who used to be my neighbor when i was like.. 3 or 4 years old hahaha. wow today was crazy!

so yesterday i deffinitly feel like I was at some sort of Ohio rendezvous of the Xgames.. manoman... big air night at carnival rocked my socks.  Ive never seen 1080s in real life, tonight was the first time and i wanted to crap my pants.

gah, soo much fun boardin with my girl megan and sone.  AHHHhh I remember when i first started going to snowtrails about 5 years ago, everything seemed so big.  Then i learned how to snowboard.  I still love that place, always will.. even when i go out west snowtrails will always be Ohios first and finest people.  HAHA, its like, my roots.

Im supposed to be doing a LAB right now.. screw this i have no patience for you! I just got done eating marshmallows, mm mmm.. its nice outside!! when its so cold like this, i just stand in front of a window that the sun is coming in and close my eyes and take in its warm goodness.  mmmmmmmm

This week in school will be easy as pie my friends, or i would like to THINK! haha, me and beck are going to try to go boarding every day we can this week, were goons.  And we don't have jobs! haha.. ooh, my cousin is coming from Colombia, to THE ohio state university next year to help teach physics and get his PHD in physics, how insane is that im sooo excited for him!  and i will get to see him more!! yeaaah

went snowboarding with jon jer beck and sonalone, goooood times! we went all morning, then beck got hit by a lift haha.. then she fell and hurt her hip, oh man.  It was sad, but the best part is when jon went off the jump like a pancake, haha that was the best.  It was sunny today, but SOOOoooo cold!!

Gods great people, thats all i have to say, allthough things arent always perfect, he is always there.. he has given me a great family, friends, and my health.. yeaeaahahaa

Classes have been getting kind of hard, but its almost over finally!! then the second part of anatomy will begin, woot.. but spring break is going to be fun, if everything works out we may go to park city for a couple days, i hope it works out.

Still need a job though, and im being a loser and putting off calling them to tell them im not coming back, blaahh..

i havent written in here in a million years.  man..

things man. things.  I got in a art show at my school which is really good for resumes i guess like i care but i just decided to enter and they picked my light at night pastel!! yeaaha.. that show is this friday at 3, im excited!! then the reject show is at cosi with free smores heck yea

haha, so... i went snowboarding yesterday and it was totally ice and i pretty much broke myself a few times. Tail bonage if you know what i mean.. ouch.  Ice sucks and if i go today it better not be icy or i am going to be reall sad.  This weekend were going to snowshoe mountain, WVA!!!! snowboarding TIME!!!! pumped about that!1 AND i dont have ANY anatomy tests this week!! this weekend is going to be amazing, what an amazing time to be alive, God has been so good to me! I got to see my family in COlombia, snowboarding season sucks but what can you do.  Im healthy and enjoying life.. hangin around family and freinds, i couldn't ask for more.  It feels good waking up in the morning.  praise God doodman.

Jen came over to sleep over last night, i love that girl.  we made french toast this morning, but i had to buy bread down the street at that convienience store which is actually pretty sweet and all.  Its convenient. haha. 

Im getting excited to be a nurse.  I had been really questioning my major lately, really doubting myself about it all, but i think this is where im to be.  I dont know.  We will see, these classes may be hard but once anatomy is out of the way, im on my way kids.  We labled the muscles on the cat this week.  Mary, my lab partner, and i got it down in 6 hours.  three in lab and 3 outside lab.  man that formaldehyde though!! geesh someone get me a gas mask!

Last night after BS.. We had a jam sesh it was amazing! .. me and jen on piano eric and his drum and laura with her viola which is amazing.  Jake didnt have the guitars though so he read his chess book, pft..hahaha we are all so odd i dont know how to describe it.  And yesterday Otterbein did pretty much the coolest thing ever.  In the campus center there was a rasta band playing, and man were they into it!! haha, best lunch ever

today was crazyness... First of all, i love sitting out on gloria´s front porch in the sun. Bogota is so nice.  The sun is so warm!! the city has about 5 million in it.  Thats about 5x columbus.  And it is built on the mounbtains, about 6000 feet above sea level. We always have to adapt to the climate because it is easy to get out of breath here because of the thin air.  I took  a freezing cold shower, then we all drove to the fair,  where artists display thier work and you can buy a whole bunch of cool stuff.  I ate so much today.  Arepas, steak, potatoes,  fried bananas,. stuff like that.. good colombia cookin.  I bought a lot of stuff man, some cool woven things because colombia is one of the leaders in textiles and stuff i guess.  man, i also love having breakfast here.  My aunts make colombian eggs, and we have  fresh papayas and fresh squeezed orange juices, and arroz con... ?? yea.. its delishious.. haha.. Tatis, , jaime, and nena came to the fair with us.  I feel bad for dragging them along but hey, they wanted to come.  After we walked around there we went to carbon palo and ate some colombian food.  I had the "baby cow" haha... thats what it was called.

Then we drove back (traffic in colombia is horrendus) .  The day traffic is worse then night traffic.  Plus, no one pays attention to traffic signs and stop signs, so u just have to pay attention to who is flying into the intersection first.. and be aware of people merging at random times.. and watch out for donkeys in the street haha.. or cows.. and street vendors.. <Got back and diego and his mom and tatis mom came over a while and talked.. then we went to bed because we were pretty much falling asleep..

Today we left for Bogota, ,Colombia at aound 545 in the morning.  Our flight was delayed because of the ice storm and all.. they had to spray the wings with some protective stuff.  We arrived in Houston just in time to connect with our flight to FLorida.  When we got to FloridA,  we ate and sat around and all talked on our cell phones haha ok picture this.. Nat is on her cell with her boyfriend, Sonia is on the phone with Taylor or someone, Mom is on the phone fighting with grandpa, and dad is on his headset pacing around probably talking about business.. and i was on my cell phone explaining all this to ry.  HAHA.. it was a sight.. Oh,  and dad and mom smell like cofee because the flight attendant spilled it on them hahaha.   <we got on the plane to FLorida, but we were delayed 2 hours because people didnt show up for the flight, even though their luggage was on board, this is dangerous i guess, so we all had to wait.  It sucked.. also everyone on the flight pretty much had black hair except for me and this little red head kid with freckels in all the es brand, he was a little skater kid.. i have no idea why he was on his way to Bogota though. 

When we got to bogota finally, we went through customs.. oh yea and we watched October sky on the plane i love that movie!! anyway, nico santi and jaime were there to greet us.  They helped us with our luggage and took us to Gloria´s.  A few people greeted us at Gloria´s, but since it was so late, we just went to bed.. and i was supèr sore from snowboarding the day before, so i was happy to get in bed.

I went up to Snow Trails today, megs met me later on.  Oh man it was so nice today!! it was all sunny, and the lines weren't bad at all.  I got the 180's down for regular, i just have to get the goofy ones down..  They can be tricky.  Ive had my share of falls learning those things.  When Megan got there, we found a run through the woods and went thru it, it was pretty sweet.  Then we went over to the terrain park at the bunny hill and screwed around.  That box is death..

ah megs.. u crack me up.. really!  We went over to the far lift, and i did some jumps.  Megs just went thru the woods because shes not supposed to hurt  her back from when she hurt it building that kicker at my house.. Oh that kicker was sweet.  We made it with a tire, and shovel head, and a blanket.. and snow of course.  We just practiced 180's and jumps until like.. 2 in the morning haha.  Back to today.. We  made our own jump out of the snow blown over on the second to last run (hustler?) dont remember what its called.  haha, the jump was sweet though.  Found one also at the bottom of the terrain park over at the end of the pipe.  Man we just got lucky with all these kickers today.  I had to leave at like 3.  Tried calling in for my on call, but of course they didnt need me.. we i couldn't eve get thru, but they never need me.  Blah.. I went into work at aroudn 715 tonight, stayed till 1130.  It was a grand time.  It seemed like we had a lot of people closing.  I like everyone I work with, its a lot of fun there.  Tomorrow morning I hope to go to snow trails a bit and mess around.  I leave for Colombia on the 15th in the morning.  im really excited! A little bummed im going to miss snowboarding, but I can't help that.. oh well, I would much rather see my family!! yesss... it will be a great time.

I went snowboarding today, after I sat aroudn the house and played the piano and dusted my room.  I learned how to play chariot, its gotta be one of my favorite songs.  It was pretty random that i went up to snowtrails today.  I knew matt was going up today at some point but i was planning on not going up because i ran and alll and didnt feel like doing anything.  BUT.. i think he called me.. or maybe i called him.. i dont remember.  But i decided to go up because chase had called me to see if i was coming up today..  So i went .. got gas, and arrived at aroud 6.. a lot of my friends where there.. like matt matt tommy kyle ian fred eric, chase, dan, amy, jeanie, idk.. some more people, i dont remember but it doesnt matter.. it was snowing so hard today, were supposed to get like 3-6 inches tonight!  If its nice tomorrow i might go snowboarding in the morning.. who knows, but i have to work tomorrow night, so well see..

Tonight i lose.. i just do.  i had someone to talk to for part of the ride home from snowtrails i nall that snow.. then megan called and we chatted a little. she just got done w/ exams so shes pretty happy and worn out.  However, when i got home i found out that coco is sick.  She hasnt been grooming herself, and she is just sitting here beside me, and she won't move, just barries her face into the towel i put on my bed for her.  pray for coco because shes the best cat ever and one of my sweetest friends..  Mann... coco get better! :( baby..

Today me Nat and Beck piled into my little civic with three snowboards and went up to snowtrials.. what a great day.. The blowers werent on, so we all just hung out on the hill and practiced stuff.. Since they were getting back into the swing of things, they practiced, and i practiced switch.  I love the winter.

Got home later, after many runs down the bunny hill, and then Nat left to go hang out w/ Andrew.  Beck went home and I ran.. Ryry was skating downtown w/ jobro so i texted becky for about a span of 2 horus.. Then mom made Christmas cookies, and my camera broke.. haha

ok that wasnt funny, but whatever.  Well, I found out that Natalie has like, anxiety or something.. Like last year she had panic attacks in Colombia and i never even knew.. Thats why she locks all the doors at night.. thats why she can't sleep.. thats why she cant go to bed without shutting al the blinds or checking the garage door or talking to mom forever.. ahh...I guess she worries herself a lot.  Man.. this bothers me.. All this time i thought natalie was just weird. Or like, self centered.. but like she cant help it.  Little deals are big to her, thats really sad and i wish she didnt have to deal with that..

mannnn... i feel like such a jerk.. and i wish mom would have told me a long time ago..

yea so... snowtrails opened today at noon!!!! me and the megs.. partners in snowboarding.. went up and boarded for about 1.5 hours since i had to work haha, it was a blast.. man i really reallly like snowboarding, its great.  I am glad megs introduced me 5 years ago.. There were a lot of kids there today, tommy  micheal matt brad jeanie amy eric fred chase dan matt noah.. it was like, all the boarding kids reunion.. crazy!! Three runs were open today, and it was amazing because the snow was so good.  No slush or ice at all!  Cant wait to go up again and bring sonia and beck!! and nat.. haha if she even comes ever
