July 7th-racheal and i found a sweet abandoned house in NA and took pictures!!! it was sweet. it had all this old stuff in it from the 60s thru 80s. an old woman and her husband had lived there, then when he died, she must have passed shortly after or moved, and the house has sat there in tact ever since. it was clearly broken into, but most everything from an old stove, record player, to the upstairs beds and matresses are still in place. its creepy! it even had an old cellar. after the exploration, racheal and i wanted to explore more, but my car started to overheat, so i had to pull into a taco bell and get water to put in my coolant container deal. we actually ended up sitting at taco bell for a couple hours talking about how people gossiping really pisses us off. then we talked about john leaving on tour some. then we finally got back into the car and went home haha. we pretty much just went to sleep when we got home.

July 8th-racheal came to church with us this morning. good times. then we all went home and she left for the band house to see john before he left for michigan. i went to the cheesecake factory with my family and dads boss, i had the cashew chicken it was amaaazinggg. then we went home, dad went golfing, but i ended up going to the band house with beck. i picked her up and we went overrr! we hung out a bit. i got to talk to john some, but then me and beck went to pick up hamp from planet smoothie yumm. went to speedway to get some slushy, then sat on the porch while we waited for john and rach to get back.  when they arrived i snuch upstairs to find john packing. we talked. it was good. real good. i missed him as one of my best friends :'( but were good now. then beck found us. i made her stay downstairs for a second haha. then she came up and we had a good threesome time just hanging out in those final moments.  when he was done packing, we took him and hamp to hamps house and departed from there. bon and hamp off too michigan, and us back to drop becky off. it was a good night :) oh and becky set all my plastic dinosaurs on top of the dash and they all went rolling when i turned a corner hahaha. she discovered that the t-rex doesnt stand straight up but actually bent down real far to scoop its prey. cool huh! hahha

July 9th-monday! today before work i went to mw photo and placed an order for my canon 5D! its supposed to come in this week.. (but never did!). afterwards i met sonia at easton but on the way had to stop at mcdonalds and put more water in my car so it wouldnt explode. it was real scary haha. it was all sizzling and making wierd noises. it got me to easton though! man today was all about spending money. we bought some hoodies for snowboarding season. one was plaid and the other had cool tree plant designs in black and white. ballin. also got this shirt that was ripped but i got it discounted and went home and sewed it haha. its the way to go. after sone and i decided we had spent too much money, we went home. well, i tried, but ended up stopping at the sunoco and splashing water on my overheating enjine. i made it home just in time to add coolant pft! then i was late to work. but i explaineed that my car was sizzling and about to explode on me haha. work was cool. i got bathroom duty (dumb!). mondays are the best. i love everyone i work with. go us! but i always seem last to finish my closing duties. oh but what really pisses me off! is when kids go off the diving boards in "diving position" but end up doing belly smackers because the SUCK at diving!! lol that sounds real mean. oh i think today was the day that someone pooped in the pool and it crumbled. resulting in me not having to sit at the instructional pool hahaha. i just looked at it and said, keep up the good work guys! (to clancey who was cleaning it out with a pool filter deal) oh tonight was the frisbee bon bon :) beck came with me. it was at andrews and we had amazing chicken and salsaaaa! but yea, tonight was cool. me and beck ended up standing out in the front yard most the time on the old deck. we also had a weird conversation about the word "san"... san diego, san fransisco... san serif? ...

July 10th-tuesday! work this morning woo. i love watching swim lessons. more like i love watching my red head swim instructors. so today after work i met mom and sone at panara (YUM) to eat, then sonia went to babysit for the babys and i went home since i didnt have time to get there by two. it rained like crazy today. then it stopped and got real nice out! i met up with beck and we picked up chris and went thrifting!! i got a sweet backpack for school. its a little kids one. i also got a W south shirt and a jacket. random stuffs. after thrifting i had an idea to go climb the mountain! so thats what we did! we dropped off becky's explorer, got my civic, got ritas for chris, and rode to lancaster. it was sweet. but we got there at almost dusk so we had to hurry. we went to devils kitchen and to the top. its so nice up there!

July 11th-wednesday! I worked today. then after work fancy texted me to play soccer. but i didnt get there til 630, and i had ttwo mismatch shin gards. fancy gives me crap about my shin guards, he can shut it!! so five of us showed, and there happened to be five internationals right next to us! so we played! i scored baby! but things always get lazy when people dont mark, and attempt to make decent passes.. so we kind of slacked for a while, but then i had to leave. rach met me at my house and we hung out. went to ritas, talked, went home. she had to leave that night, but forgot her charger which is still at my house ha oops!i talkeed to tim a long time tonight about the whole gossiping thing going on in the hosue lately. he kind of got it. but i felt bad because he is new to the band so he may not get it anyway... oh well. i wanted to talk to SOMEONE lol.

July 12th-thursday! I worked in the morning. then on my break i got wendy's salad and chili. amazing. there was a kid at the pool today that insisted on getting me wet at the diving well. DUMB! I finally just had to make friends with him, and he stopped. but it was just not the warmest day to be getting splashed. oh well. today i met beck at the band houseee. dre, me, beck, rach, jamie, and drew all went to canes!! yeeeaa! i ate everyone's leftovers and drank becks orange bev, then tim and doug met us there and ate mmm. jamie drew and rach left to fix jamies septum at evolved haha. then we went back and tim stiffs and dre and i got ice cream. my belly is growing from all this food lately, i need to simmer haha. but  i guess tim and stiffs talked even tho i wasnt expecting them too, which is kind of cool. i almost fell asleep driving on the way home ha.

July 13th-friday the 13th! today racheal's little sister had her baby :) i dont know how the family reacted, but its a cute baby. only 5 pounds 6 oz though. real small! i woke up late and tried to scan some real old pictures that i found of mom and grandpa and grandma at school. then i went to work. only worked from 1-5, and today sonia semi segi, rola and jenny came to my work! it was sweet. semi stole my phone and wouldnt give it back though. they are nuts. after work we all ate mexican@ mimejico yummm. well that night i had semi plans but i ended up going to amandas to hang out with her eric and her dad. we had  a bonfire. there were real cool clouds too. the sun had just set so there was  a real blue white color to them. oh and i saw three shooting stars. it was pretty sweet.

July 14th-I worked the swim meet today. the coolest red heads were there. one came into the managers office when i was in there and asked me where brent was. mmmmmmmmmmmm. anyway. guarding swim meets are fun. afterwards we took out lane lines and the parents always give us food and stuff leftover from the meets :) i had pulled chicken and no bakes. freaking YUM! after the meet dad called and i met the fam nico, and cata at the spaghetti warehouse! they got remarried in the catholic church today but no one told me in time so i had to work haha. i had amazing ceasar salad and minestroni. then i drove me and sonia home (after driving all over the city from missing our exits) and we sat around while mom and dad slept. then we decided that we must go to easton and buy things at VS and then get rita's. so i bought tons of cool stuff and got a free dog. we went to ritas and met up with duce fancy brian and michelle. i used my free ice card mmm!! lol i asked the guy if the mango ice had real fruit in it, so he dug around it with his spoon.. i dont think so?? then sonia threw her old cup in this trashcan looking thing which was actually holding a hose..?? ok.. LOL. then me and sone went to meijers. i got bandanas and she got water baloons and kiwi hair stuff haha. her and her hair stuff.. wow. then we honked at the friendle boaters going over the bridge, and after getting to the other side, sonia realizes she needs gas! so we turn around ..haha so we were listening ot family force 5 with the windows rolled down,and i get out this new VS bra that i got its blue and sparkly and put it on my head like earmuffs. then i put my underwear on sonias head like a hat. and we go cruising to the gas station when this integra pulls up beside us and it happens to be a kid i work with.. LOL wow we felt real dumb but kept singing FF5. it was a good day. then we came home and made up a new game. if you put calvin in the window and stand outside, you can throw mulch at the screen and he thinks its real cool. he just stares at it and tries to get it. sonia left and the rents came home from macy's. oh then matt and micheal come over and we just jammed in the piano room! it was a good time. matt wanted me to try to figure out sleep by MCR. then my mom and micheal talked about music theory and it was grand. matt has some bowling tournament in buffalo tomorrow though so they all just left. but yea, good day!

 

June 25th: today sonia and i took grandpa to dairy queen! haha he got a cheeseburger and a sundae.  he said his cheeseburger was too hot, so he put ice in it. gross grandpa!! LOL..then tonight i worked at the pool. i had bathroom duty for the first time. enough said.

June 26th: i once again worked at the pool! 9-12. the easiest shift EVER.  then that night was super dumb because i had to go to a lame inservice at 9pm.  it went from 9-10, but me nate and nick hid from our instructers so we didnt have to swim haha.  the whole inservice was just us telling something about each other and eating tootsie rolls. nate took about 50 and made them into a big turd that he was going to throw in the water. That night we all went on the boat.  i got through the gate because some dude let me in, and we all went out into one of the bays. turns out me trying not to get wet was a big waste because we ended up jumping into hoover off the boat anyway. its so wierd because the surface is warm but underneath is freezing.  swimming at night was kind of scary but jumping off the top of the boat was a blast. 

June 27th: (wednesday) today me andrea fancy and colin and racheal all went swimming at emma's dads.  it was cold but we got used to it. the band was invited, but they are "TOO BUSY" anymore.. after swimming we got pizza hut. yea. they all ended up coming over to swim. stiffler got his weekly shower. then we all sat around in the living room and watched family guy and music videos. good day :)

June 28th:  worked 9-12. pft.

June 29th: friday!! today i worked 1-5, i also got out of another inservice..then me, emma, racheal, and andrea all went CAMPING in emmas backyard!! woot. it was a good time, they had cleared out a spot in emma's woods earlier that day so we picked up a tent from emma's aunts, and set it up in the woods it was fantastic.  yea, so we were in a gated community, but it was still pretty beastly.  we even built a campfire out of the sticks they took out to make the clearing! after making smore and eating many hot dogs, we all got in the tent and talked about girl stuff i guess you could say.. i didnt have too much to say though. it was kind of a wierd night. fun nonetheless. oh and i shared a sleeping bag with a daddy long leg that absolutly freaked me out guuuhhhhh!! ew i was so grossed out for some reason. i hate the thought of bugs in the sleeping bag.. yuck.

June 30th: today my Colombian grandpa died. i think at 11 am. anyway. camping continues..we all woke up in the tent to tons of daddy longlegs blah!! then we cleaned up out mess and put the fire out with old bev, then went up to the house and had pancakes and bacon yummm! we also played with emma's ducks and took them for a swim in the baby pool :)  that day consisted of me going home, hanging out, and going back to emma's to meet up with dre and racheal and emma to go to the shooow! we parked on the street, talked to some peeps, and went in. it was  a fun show, but not one of the best. that night i went back to the house and it was like a big family time. we all sat around the living room and talked. a few scene girls showed up but they didnt stay long.. it was a good time.

July 1st: today was brian's grad partyyy! we didnt go to church because my mom was busy cooking for his party to help jane out. we all went over there and hung out for about 4 hours.. sat around outside, ate, saw old friends, played kareoke idol, guitar hero. and ate. it was amazing. that night they had a pool party, but instead i went over to the house and hung out with john. we had a bonfire and talked, and it was just a really good night. i miss him. and im really gonna miss them when they leave!!

July 2nd: monday. work at night, i got to clean the managers office this time though!! but somehow i ended up the last to finish again.. probably because i swept the hallway.. i dont know. i was supposed to hang out with amanda but instead i went home to see my dad who's dad had died on saturday. we talked about his funeral and how beautiful it was. also how his picture was placed on top of the casket, which people loved (they dont do that in colombia i guess) it was a good talkin.

July 3rd. Diana and rosario arrive!! also, i worked and took care of GP's kids for three hours. semi threw fits but we got her calmed down. she also fell out of the pool on her back.. but i calmed her down.. it was a pretty successful time i think. tonight we all went to red white and boom (except mom and sonia) we met up with the hoffman's it was fun! ate their food, and sat by the river. it was cool seeing kayakers, and there was a car out on the river that looked like a boat! oh and i saw john and racheal! that was fun. walking back from the fireworks was fun because the streets were so crowded with people. it was nuts! i sat in traffic for an hour, and decided to be a party pooper and not go camping! hhaha

July 4th: freaking crazy day!! i went to my family's party at gabriels neighbors house in the hills.  it was a blast. they are all latin, so the latin music was blasting like mad.  they also had amazing food and homemade guacamole! YUM! we all watched the fireworks from thier amazing backyard which is on a hill.. so we had perfect view! afterwards, i left and hung out at the house for a bit. we had a bonfire and stiffler and matt were being gross as usual. i love those boys.  i think matt tore off his shirt again for no reason.  we had a bonfire. then i left i was mad tired.

July 5th: i worked 9-5.. it was slow because it had rained.. thats how i like it! then the last 45 minutes i spent helping put in lane lines. it was fun!! there was a swim meet but i didnt stay for it.

July 6th: friday! maxwell worked for me!!! we went to the reds game with my dad mom diana and rosario.. we had a good time, the reds won 8-1!! we also had some good laughs about juan carlos falling at the fourth of july! i love cinci reds games. ohman. i also want to go out on a house boat on the river sometime. that would be grand. i slept halfway on the way back, listening to frankies latin mix haha.. im surprised i slept during that..

July 7th: diana and rosario left :( we all had breakfast, i mowed the lawn, and here i am! i really want to buy my camera today..

 

so i have to start with my vacation. so far this summer has been a BLAST!!

June 16th: Today is the day we leave for hilton head island, SC baby!! my dad likes us to leave early in the morning so we can get there early also.  So i never go to bed until we leave :) After i packed that night, i went over to the band house and hung out with my homies.  we didnt do much of anything like usual but sit around and be dumb.   I can't really remember what happened this day.. but i think earlier this week was the event where we had a giant punked between all the members of BWF and tom.. it started with drew coming in and acting drunk.. then everyone getting pissed.. stiffler taking the boys out back and "telling them the band was breaking up", Tom "storming out of the house" then when he comes back, stiffler and matt going at it in the living room.. and all ending with matt, yet once again, tearing off this white t shirt.  that kid is nuts. Anyway, i hardley made it back in time to leave because on the way back i had to buy towels at meijer because we didnt have any for vacation! i bought these huge ones that were on sale woo. good stuff. then my family and sam all piled into our van (me and nat in the back of course) said a prayer, and left for vacation!! haha all i remember is dad getting pulled over for speeding, and getting off with a warning. mom was mad about that haha. last time we went to SC he got pulled over for speeding and got a ticket. well we woke up that morning in the car and went to eat breakfast at mcdonalds like usual. i got sweet tea in celebration of the south and a burrito and monkey bread. that stuff is the shiz. we dont have it up here at mcdonalds.

we always like to stay for 8 days instead of 7. my dad likes the extra day. so we get to the hotel and its absolutly beautiful out. fresh lemonade is in the lobby, and we all run upstairs to see our view.  we had this sweet ocean/pool view. a guy was singing country songs down at the pool it was awesome.  after we all got settled in, we went down to the pool and just relaxed. it was amazing. i love hotels that cater to me.  we went swimming for a bit, then after a while all went upstairs. i think this was the day we ordered pizza to the room.  then we all went on a night swim that night. there was a wedding going on. we swam for a long time that night. and of course sonia and sam met boys.. surprisingly i didnt go to the beach today. well i guess i went out to pee one time. but thats it.

June 17th: happy father's day! today was check out day for our hotel.. but before check out we all hung out by the pool and ate amazing nachos with everything on them.  i also got a bananna smoothie.  me and nat had a goggles time in the 14 ft pool, and we ran into some people that my dad works with.  i also swam the length of the entire pool underwater. it was pretty intense. i am a beast. after being lazy we all checked out and and went to fudruckers. i had a veggie burger and root beer float. my dad hates root beer i dont get it. we arrived at our condo tonight and unpacked. thats about all. i think we may have went to the pool and ordered out bikes too..

JUne 18th (monday): today was a pool day.  no beach. yea i dont remember too much of this day except that i wore a lot of sunscreen, and then we all ate at this amazing mexican place called mi tierra.  when we got back we all played a game of pit! the stocks game.. haha this game never gets old. oh and i won, haha i kept trading the bear to sonia right before someone won, and then she finally got me back.. but i still won :)

June 19th: another pool day. i think every day is a pool day. but yea, no beach yet.  nat and dad kept working out but i just wasnt feelin it.  tonight we ate at a sweet chinese place called yumyum or something weird like that.  then we all went back and played that game.. where you describe the word but you cant say it.. i forget what its called.. oh well. me nat and sam were on a team, and we lost. barely though!  one of these days we also went shopping at the bi lo. it wasnt too exciting because i didnt find my arizona tea. dumbbbb

June 20th: Nico and Cata had just gotten back from germany the night before, and were supposed to have arrived in SC yesterday.. but instaed they arrived today with diana.  it was a good time. we moved diana into our room, and sonia and sam got kicked out of thier room and moved to the pull out bed.  it was exciting to have everyone in the house! today was  a nice day.  a pool day.  we still hadnt been to the beach yet i dont think. after swimming at the pool a while we all went back to eat, and dad made his spaghetti for everyone. it was real good. nico and cata went to bed early beecause they were tired of driving.. and we all just hung out.. i think there may have been a game of up and down too..

June 21st (thursday): today was a pool AND beach day.  there was a chance of rain, so we all rode to the beach in the morning.  it was an amazing day for the ocean. I think it had stormed so the waves were huge. we all got in. the current was so strong though that we kept moving sideways. we took the boogy boards out for a while but i only got one good wave.  the rest of the time was spent playing in the waves. we  could see a storm waaaay out in the ocean, aand when it finallly got  to us, we had to leave because you could tell it was going to storm.  it was a good day at the beach. i love swimming in the ocean. after a while though i stopped trying to make my hair go in one direction beecause the waves were too powerful. when we got back to our towels, they were covered with sand.  after we rode back, i got in the pool, but the sand didnt come out of my bathing suit.  we went to the closest pool this vacation beecause there were always a million kids at the other one.  and at the back of the pool there was a pond where a million turtles lived, and they always swam up to the shore when you stood near them.  cuteness.  tonight i think we just ate pizza.  hawaiian and peporoni. yummm.. i spent the rest of the night uploading pictures while dad diana mom and nat played up and down.  today me and nat rode to the ocean at sunset, it was beautiful.  one of my favorite times to be at the beach. i love east coast beaches.  we took lots of pictures of us messing around.  doing cartwheels and stuff.riding back was really dark though!

June 22: this morning we all rode to harbor town! since our ice cream place was no longer in business, we had ice cream at the cinnimon bear shop.  i had raspberry sorbet it was amazing.  we also went into the stores. me and diana got shirts. not like i need another shirt or anything.. but it was sweet and said alligator patrol. i later found out that my friend emma got the same one. lame. when we got back we all went to the pool.  i think this was the day that dad fell over in his lawn chair and everyone laughed at him.  he couldnt get up though because there were chairs all around him hahaha. diana just stood there and laughed. oh man. my family.  and every now and then i would see those bright green leapin lizards and try to catch them. those bandits are too fast for me. tonight we had grilled out. dad burnt the burgers, but they were still real good. and we had fries. freaking yum. all us girls went to the beach again at dusk. so pretty! and then tonight i played up the most ridiculous game of up and down with diana, dad, and natalie.  me and dad were on a team and we were seriously kicking butt the whole game.. then nat and diana gualpe the last two turns, and tied us! then we had a tie breaker with one card. and who wins? them! so cheap.. that game in unpredictable.

June 23: today was our last day at hilton head  :( we all got up and i went on a bike ride with diana. we went through the southern neighborhoods with the amazing southern homes! i took pictures of diana and then we went to the beach and took more pictures! we all went to the pool and saw the "laughing ladies" my dad called them (the women who laughed when he fell back on his chair). dad nico cata and diana ended up going to the beach, and i stayed at the pool. i was alone for a while, but it was mad relaxing oh man. they came back later on and swam with me.  then everyone left and me and diana were the only ones left.  we went back to the house, and nico cata and diana left around 5 pm.  then we all went back to our mexican restuarant and ate dinner for the last time on vacation.  we got back and us girls went to the beach, then back home to pack.  

June 24: we left at around 4 am instead of 3am because dads alarm didnt go off! i like sleeping in the car at night because you wake up and are almost home.  that night we got home around 7 or something and hung out at home.  i went over to the house for a little bit.

and that was my vacation!

oh. so much to say about sophomore year. at the beginning it was all about learning how to do assessments.  I had the best fall clinical instructor. her name was joy, and she was like a really good mom to us.  she wanted us to succeed.  that was the quarter that  us nursing students got to know each other reallll well haha.  putting kailyn on a bedpan, meeting ruby, my first patient ever, who wanted to be called princess.  also meeting deanna.  she had MS, but she was a trip and loved watching movies.  also, doing my total assessment on a girl in my class's boyfriend, and asking about his sex life. awkward!! going to osu games with my dad.  the best! oh and taking amanda, that was so much fun haha.  that was also the quarter of the old band house, so messy, but such good times :) ho toof. late nights at waffle house with some of the best guys ever.  john playing dead in the backyard. gymnastics.  thrifting with brandon john and andrea.  random talks with keith. scene night with andrea. haha.  my first skull session.  exploring the creek with my jason rickey. late nights at waffle house with the band, driving in stiffler's truck bed (which was soon to be demolished by john and micah).

and then came the winter.

the first time i have ever snowboarded out west was spent in utah with one of my best friends, megan, and my dad. I will never forget this trip, so amazing.  first of all park city was just breathtaking.  i felt like i was on another planet.  fresh powder everywhere, snowcovered pine trees, driving up through the mountains.  seeing the olympic grounds. but most of all that first trip up the mountain in the morning, fresh powder covered the ground, the base disappeared as we passed over the first level of the mountain.  sitting by the fire and the christmas tree after a long day of boarding (7 hours i think) no stops baby!  amazing.  that trip i used my new board, the feelgood, it was fantastic.  oh but i had cracked my tailbone about a couple weeks before, and i fell on it again there, so that was pretty dumb, but whatever.  its still in the healing process haha. super dumb!  its almost healed though :) 

Then we went to snowbird which was also absolutly amazing.  dang. love it there.  junior's snowbowl and path to paradise, my first black diamonds (i think) out west.  jumping off rocks.  yeeeeeeee. good stuff, sucks though that megan kept getting sick!  oh and then we met those people from olantangy, what are the odds.  haha but i will never forget the first run of snowbird, my dad went off the path and took a black diamond, we couldnt find him at the bottom for about ten minutes, but when we did, he was so hot from the workout that steam was coming from his head hahaha.

we got back from that trip early morning on the 21, my 20th birthday!! megan wished me a happy birthday then left.  the day of my 21st birthday was spent with my family, we went to pf chang's.  it was fantastic.  then afterwards i went to the band house (the new one!) and had everyone sing me happy birthday haha. oh yea. i think this was also the time we went to the rendering plant (fall). that place was straight out of a horror movie.  big refrigerator doors and red rust that looked like blood.  gah. that whole winter was spent snowboarding, school, and hanging out with good people.  also, crying over late nights spent doing pre-clinical write ups.  dumb.  that quarter was med surge. shoot me in the face, i didnt like it too much.  i gave my first bed bath to a old man.  i also gave me first shot of insulin.  and passed meds.  also i saw my first leg amputation, and got to hang out with my client until his surgery.  i think i wanted to quit nursing on a regular basis. but me and olivia made it through together, studying for pharm and nursing together.  i loved late nights with her and bella.  talking about her ex  boyfriend and taking walks out in the snow at night :)  but my favorite time of this season is the snowboarding.  winter is all about snowboarding and making the most of the cold weather.  going up with jon jeremy nat and sonia, we  had so many good times.   but i loved spending that night with my sister and her friends when they tried thier first jump.   that season they also had the halfpipe filled, and i learned my first backside! those are so much fun, i dont know how i ever did without them.  haha i also went to MRM with ryan and did my first backside step up.  HAHA and busted my chin on ice.  i thought i lost my teeth.  i scared some little boys too :)  i totally slipped out on that rail. dumb. haha that year me and beck snuch into the christmas tree at easton.  eaaston at christmas is the best.  haha oh and sneaking into the tubing with emma, good times.  that day was SO WARM! i felt like i was boarding in mashed potatoes, or in the clouds or something haha.  i think that was my last day of the season.  what an amazing season, started out rough, but ended up with so much snow! and i dont know how many times i injured my tailbone haha. tooo many.

spring break came along, and i needed a definite break.  this marks the beginning of my semi career searching when i realized that nursing school is super lame and i hate it.  olivia would be leaving me, and it was just all around a sad time.  but the good thing about this season was that daylight savings started early, and the sun set later earlier!! as winter quarter ended, apring break came around and i got prepared for my OC nursing quarter.  little did i know that i would be spending it at grant again with a ok instructor, anne.  i changed my first diaper and held my first real baby (since age 5).  it was nice. babies. yea.  i saw a c-section with debbie and some grant paramedics in training.  there was one woman with a 9 lb baby girl, that thing was huge, and her placenta was enormous too.  i was scared for this quarter just because i would be taking stats, micro, and nursing. a lot to carry.  but i did it! bill harper, my stats teacher, is amazing.  he has such a great sense of humor, and wants everyone to succeed.  this quarter was all about making new friends.  since olivia left i didnt have any really.  so my first nursing class i sat down by coleen and asked her if she wanted to be friends.  so now were friends.  also, i met brittany and aubrey.  i love all these girls.  if i do end up sticking with nursing, i have a feeling that they will be my sanity through the long monotonous lectures.  but yea overall this quarter ended up being good ::) no more crying over papers, it was unroganized but managable.  less stress. haha good times laying out in the lawn and watching the theatre class practice fighting.  this quarter was filled with so many funny things.  like nursing breaks with aubry meghan, colleen, and brittany spent climbing trees and running around park benches and getting dirty.  who would have thought we were 20-24 years old. 

this quarter was also a quarter spent at the band house.  i like jeremy van scabies old house. but im really going to miss him when he goes to marry his lady in colorado! i actually got to meet her.  she seemed cool.  oh man, dance parties in the BWF house to techno and brittany spears.  playing pwn cone.  bonfires, blowing up cans of vegetables, talking the to neighbor through the window haha.  but BWF shows and friends, good times.  i love basement shows, one of the best times spent dancing with all my friends in the pit, listening to some reggea/funk band.  good stuff.  sitting on the roof.  going on adventures down to the overpass and the railroad tracks.  but how could i forget the foto adventures of me and beck.  some of my favorite times are spend with her photographing.  we went downtown and spotted a train that looked abandoned from 71.  so we drove over there, found some cool old buildings, and followed grassy tracks to where we saw the "abandoned" blue train. however it wasnt abandoned, and the enjineer took us on a ride up the tracks! he even wore blue pinstriped overalls haha.  oh and painting with micheal, good times.  this quarter i got to know some new people, mainly fancellii and his friends.  we climbed westerville south together, and i got some sweet bruises.  it was like a movie. i felt like tomb raider.  rita's and deep talks at planet westervile with jeremy and andrea.  letting a good friend down, emotionally. playing soccer with megan on osu campus with a flat ball!! gotta brush up on those soccer skills since i plan on playing this summer.  and seeing jason rickey off yet again after another fantastic year.  last year i remember seeing off him and jen (and having a very long talk with her beautiful twin!!) anyway, we layed under the tree for the last ten minutes i spent with him, it was hot, but it started raining. warm rain, so we just layed there.  then i went to class at 1.  i was late, but thats just the story of my life i guess.  after all i was late to clnical like 2 or three times last quarter.  i bet vanessa loved me for that.

this summer i want to start a children's book.  i really want to illustrate it.  and i hope to get my new camera too! i am looking at the canon D5.  beautiful.  this summer i just want to relax, maybe take painting, work at the pool. hand out with friends.  you know the deal.  but i must go study for exams.  and clean. woo. ciao

   where im going to be in 2 years? yea, i have no idea. But i know that I want God to guide my path because has a purpose for me.. and no matter where he takes me. I know it will be good. because everytime i have ever trusted him, things couldnt have turned out better. 

Today I went to snowtrails and it was so sunny and warm I only wore a few layers.  I think it was around 50 degrees, and the cool thing is that since it hasn't rained yet, the snow was perfect. Perfect spring boarding conditions! mmm.. i went by myself for the first hourish, then jonjer and amanda came up and it was a freaking good time.  I went up yesteray and boarded with seth tommy and micheal a bit, but it wasnt as warm as today.  Today was just straight up baller.

This quarter has been dandy.  I haven't been stressed too much, and ive killed pharmacology so far.  Im beasting that class.  Nursing is going alright. I hope to end up with a B.  I just don't know if i want to be a nurse. It kills me. I mean.. i love going to surgeries and stuff, but i HATE HATE HATE standing around all day passing meds. Its so boring, and im like, ugh.  I don't want to be here. And when we took our 450 point NLN exam (that isnt counted for credit) I just sat there and drew a picture of a fire escape and stars, don't even ask.  I was so angry at myself.  I really tried to take the exam, I got thru like 20 (if that) questions, then i just bit the dust.  It was terrible I was so mad at myself.  guh.  My photo class however has been amazing, I love it.  My final project was about the shower, i love talking about my photography.  It tells a story, and it tells so much about a person.

So back to snowboarding.  I got my frontside and backside down this year! i tried them at MRM for the first time on a real jump, and then on the step up.  It was so smooth on the stepup, ST should get one of those. I messed up my chin lst week at MRM coming off a rail.  I slipped out and my jaw broke my fall, it was nasty.  I bit the inside of my lower lip and busted my chin.  Blood was everywhere and dripping down my face, it was one of the strangest things i've ever experienced.  The first thing i felt for was to see if my teeth were still there hahaha.  They were.  It was just wierd wiping my bloody face off with my hand to keep it from getting all over my white coat.  not going to lie, i felt kind of beastly walking into the lodge and having all those little boys stare at me in awe.  I took a picture of it.  That was a good day.

about a person. her name is mom. she drives me crazy sometimes, but that is probably because we are so different in many ways... and also because i know she loves me :)  .. I am a naturally sloppy person.  Im not going to lie, its just the facts.. and i also have a messy room.. mom calls me a pack rat, but ive been doing pretty good with that lately.  anyway.. sometimes when i get really busy i just dont do routine maintanence on myself, and i know that drives her crazy and she lets me know it.. let me tell u.. but today she let me know that these things aren't things to stress over in life.  There are messy people, and there are clean people, just like there are people who love art, and people who love math.  Well for example.. im that person who loves art, and she is the one that loves math,. and we just don't see eye to eye.. but we both know our strengths and our weeknesses.. and my mom is very wise, i hope to inheret that from her.. i do know that we have these things in common however: we both genuinely care about people.. i know this because the way she loves me dispite my bad habits she absolutly can't stand reflects how genuine her love for people really is.. God blessed me with a wonderful mom and an awesome family, i can't believe how fortunate i am to have them. love you mom.

TOday I found out that pluto isn't really a planet.  That really bums me out because I always thought that it was the coolest planet with the coolest name.. and now they are claiming its just a bundle of ice from a giant comet that flew into orbit in our solar system.. dang.

The final decision has been made.  We are going to move my grandpa up to Cbus into a assisted living facility.  It is for the best, and now we can visit him whenever we want which is pretty sweet.  This summer has pretty much been a blast.  One of the best thus far as i can remember (since having a summer job at least).  I have finally just had time to relax during the summer and chill with my friends.  This summer i have been around beck and john so much, they are my two really close friends at the time.  I haven't gotten to see many of my other HS friends too much but everytime we hang out we have such a blast. 

Working at the pool has been sweet action, its so laid back and ive made a lot of friends! DUDE, i love being a pool rat in the summer. oh yea, i bought a new snowboard deck, its a Burton FEELGOOD and its BA.. i love the graphic.  I havent written in here in a while.  Oh well, some cool stuff thats happened this summer:

I got to go to CEDAR POINT with my DAD!! that was aawesome, we got up super early and arrived right as it opened.  First we rode the millenium which is one of my favorites, and the wicked twister twice .. in the front, which is also another favorite.  rides.. and the gemini, and the rapter.  amazing!  And on top of all that cotton candy was only 25 cents!! woah!!

Me and beck and ash and john and andrea (on-dray-uh) all went to alumn with giant floats!! a whale, airplane, matress thing, and a boat, it was fabulous, and we saw a water snake, then we went to the beach and floated around, talk about relaxing

John''s band had a show at the basement, it was amazing, i had a blast.  I also went to california this summer and we climbed the most fantastic mountain ever.  I forget the name,, but it was out in the desert of palm springs, and when you get to the top it is all forest and beautifulness, and nature at its best.

a lot of other stuff.. oh man.. the boys have been coming over more lately, micheal and his girl arent together anymore so ive gotten to see a lot more of him.  shoot i have to sleep, work at 6am woot, nightnightnight

So, Sheena, josh's best friend..... went to the hospital today because she thought her appendix was about to burst.  Actually, she was going into labor and had no idea she was pregnant, surprise!  HAHA, its a boy.. how in the world do you NOT know your pregnant youask?  I have no idea.  But i guess she didnt really show, and was one of those few women who don't stop thier period while pregnant.

Were still not sure of the living situation with my granpa..he has alzheimer's like dementia.  it is sad, but were making the most of it.. and he loves being around us grandkids, so i am glad we can make him happy.  He has been very depressed lately, and confused also.  However, with his new meds hopefully he can live comfortably! God will make a way i have no doubt.. hes been there thus far, and i hope things will be ok

Summers been amazing, i love working at the pool.  I have made some sweet friends there and met a lot of new people.  Im sad that nicckie got let go tho, she was the one who got me the job there.  This weekend should be good, tomorrow i am dancing with beck, and saturday eating with keith, sunday tracis birthday dindin woo!  I got some sweet CDS at the library, my faves out of the bunch are The Real Tuesday Weld, Vivaldi, The Dandy Warhold, and Phil Collins hahaha, hes the man.  one more night baby, one more night.  Oh and i wiill have to agree with gregory that twenty twenty surgery ( i think that what its called) is a pretty fabulous song on the new TBS cd, i also am a fan of My Blue Heaven though! MAN... summer rocks my socks

I love being a pool rat/bum.. its what i want to be when i grow up.  The weather has been sweet lately, but i hear its going to rain this weekened// rainy days are the best days to listen to classical music.. i pretent i live in london and the weather sucks all year round, then i put in a classical CD and pretend like im important. 

HA oh man i can't beleive i havent written on this thing in such a lonnng time!ok well, im officially now not a freshman in college anymore.  COOL HUH?  This year was pretty different and cool and sad and happy and scary and hopeful and filled with friends and family and all kinds of cool stuff.  man.. well right now i am sitting in my living room with gloria grandpa and my dad.  Were watching the 2006 Fifa world cup!! its sweet, the ivory coast (aftrica) is playing the netherlands.  it is 2-1 (netherlands) but Gloria wants a tie. 

I made a lot of friends this year.. to name a few, olivia my big butt nursing major lover, jake and eric.. pretty much hippies or something, JEN, Allison, RYAN!! ok im going to stop naming because i have no idea who all, but anyway..  Somehow i managed straight A's this entire year.  Its pretty exciting, and i got accepted into the nursing program which is also pretty sweet.. I didnt go back to wyandot lake this summer lol.. but im working at the local pool, its pretty much sweet and im meeting a lot of cool people there.  I would just like to say.. this year has tested my ability to rely on others and God.. im so used to relying on myself which i know is impossible and I am blessed to have a great family and friends they rock my socks.  Jake and Jen aren;t coming back next year which makes me very sad.  When Jen's twin came to pick her up and take her back to MA, the world just seemed complete.  I don't know why. it just did.

I got so sunburned today, I went to the warped tour with nat sone and beckham.  It was sweet, underoath was my favorie part, they really put on a good show.  haha sonia had her first mosh pit experience today, we got right up to the front, it was so fun and scary as poo at the same time!!!! i didnt get any people dropped on my head this year, however a fat kid got thrown over me and kicked me, it hurt.. i hate it when big ones go up, its the worst.. finally we had them pull us out because it was about that time where you start suffocating and you feel like your in an oven and youve just had enough.. I also had a inservice at work today.. i got to play the part of the slide dispatcher.. there were two spinals, and we swam the 500.  I kept getting flashbacks of the wyandot lake inservice when the lifeguards forgot to clear the pool and everyone started drowning hahhahahaha

This year was fun, some of my favorite moments though were probably all the times i had with my friends..  like falling asleep in Jason's dorm, getting locked on the roof of the science building, visiting mom in her office every week, random computer lab helpers..doing gymnastics and climbing trees with Jen in the wee hours of the morning, ROCK SOLID!! haha, driving balls with Nat, playing the random pianos around otterbein college (there are at least one in every building haha) doing random things with becky such as hanging out with the skatepark kids or random myspace people (YEA!!) haha.. my history professor and 2D design professors (Dr Rose and Austin) are pretty amazing, i dont know why but those classes were sweet, I loved all my art classes this year even though they were a challenge at times, and i even got to be in an art show!  yea.. there were a few downtimes.. that 2 week long bout of depression and anxiety, wierdest thing of my entire life, this is where i especially thank my fam and God for helping me out of it.. i never would have thought i would finish school.. and here i am.. and i apologize to any friends who i abandoned during the time.. other bad things.. im allergic to mangos hahaha i found this out in colombia and it was revealed to me about 3 months later when i tried to eat one and broke out like woah!  dude and grandpa has this odd dementia like disease which is reminding me of alzheimers, which hopefujlly it wont get worse.. but anyway, haha this just reminds me of when grandpa great grandma and my moms aunt all had a conversation, but they all have memory problems haha.. so it was one big confusing conversation which is not funny but it is. There are way more good things than bad things that happened this year, and im thankful for that.. life is crazy sometimes.. gah im rambling haha.. i cant wait to snowboard.. dude can you believe shaun white and hannah teter both won the olympic halfpipe.. and thier only like 19!? gesh.. tomorrow is nats grad party, ye..shes graduating college.. woo!! were gon eat like you dont even know!! Gloria is drinking cofee at 1140 at night, those colombians are crazy, man.. i miss them colombians i cant wait to go back, woah i have to sleep
